Glebe Cottage is a Grade II Listed thatched property in the small South Hams village of Woodleigh. Carefully restored, it retains traditional stone walls, beamed ceilings and some very low doorways (take care if tall). Spacious for a two bedroom cottage, the sitting-room features an original inglenook with a wood-burner, and there is a second wood-burner in the adjoining dining-room. The kitchen/diner has a gas-fired Redfyre range – this is an Aga-type, two oven cooker and is the main cooking appliance. A flight of stone steps (take care with children and the elderly) from the kitchen door leads up to a pretty walled garden laid mainly to lawn. There is a delightful thatched summer-house, and the garden enjoys views of the surrounding hills. With Kingsbridge, Totnes, Dartmouth and the coast all within a short drive, Glebe Cottage is a treat waiting to be enjoyed. *A cot is not provided, please bring your own travel cot.
