Surf, sand and sea – what bliss! Praa Sands forms part of Mount’s Bay, an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, with a pub, cafe, restaurant, surf shop and other facilities all close to the beach. With glorious sea views from the shared sun-room, and sitting/dining-room, beautifully furnished single-storey Sea Drift is a self-contained annexe to the Owners’ home, set at the top of a private lane yet within strolling distance of the fabulous beach and spectacular coastal footpath. It is spacious, light, and tastefully decorated, with several of the Owners’ paintings on display and wireless broadband provided. Overlooking the garden the well-equipped kitchen has maple units and porcelain floor tiles, and a step up into the sitting/dining-room with its sumptuous leather sofas. Both generous bedrooms have doors leading out to a pretty terrace and beautiful rear garden, part of which is for guests’ private use (please supervise children in the garden). The attractive shower-room has a double shower enclosure. Sea Drift is ideally located for exploring west Cornwall, with famous St Michael’s Mount at Marazion and Porthleven’s picturesque harbour nearby, but why not just pocket those car keys, put your feet up and read that novel you promised yourself – although you may find that view a little distracting!
