Surf, sand and sea – bliss! Forming part of Mount’s Bay, an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, Praa Sands has a pub, cafe, restaurant, surf shop and other facilities all near the beach. At the top of a private lane, a stroll from the fabulous beach and spectacular coastal footpath, beautifully appointed single-storey Sea Drift adjoins the Owners’ home. With glorious sea views from the shared sun-room and the sitting/dining-room its interior is spacious, light and tastefully decorated, with several of the Owners’ paintings on display. Overlooking the beautiful back garden, the well-equipped maple kitchen has porcelain floor tiles and a step up into the sitting/dining-room, furnished with sumptuous leather sofas. The shower-room has a double shower enclosure, and both generous bedrooms open onto a pretty terrace and the garden, part of which is for guests’ sole use (please supervise children in the garden). Sea Drift is ideally located for exploring west Cornwall, with Marazion’s famous St Michael’s Mount and Porthleven’s picturesque harbour nearby. Or why not forget the car, sit back, and read a good book – although that view might be a little distracting! Please note that the changeover times are 4pm on arrival and 10am on departure.
