The pretty Somerset village of Queen Camel boasts a pub and an excellent local shop in its main street, where delightful Holland Cottage watches the world go by. This charming end of terrace cottage is light and sunny, with everything you need for a truly memorable holiday. The enchanting cottage garden at the rear, fully enclosed and very private, is accessed by stone steps outside the back door and includes a small covered pond (please take care with toddlers). An archway leads from the compact but well-equipped kitchen into the dining-room, which in turn opens into the comfortable sitting-room with its welcoming open fire. Upstairs are a bathroom and three attractive bedrooms, both double rooms with a television and one en suite. With numerous excellent restaurants and pubs within a few miles, Holland Cottage is also an ideal base for enthusiastic walkers, visiting the area’s several National Trust houses and gardens, or, a little further afield, exploring Dorset’s sandy beaches and spectacular Jurassic coastline.
