In Devon’s South Hams a few miles from riverside Newton Ferrers, Bay Tree is one of a cluster of attractive barn conversions on the outskirts of the village of Brixton. The cottage has a small seating-area with a Monet-style bridge over a pond (please take care with children) to one side of the drive and the house and main garden on the other. Enter on the ground floor and steps lead down to the sitting-room with its blue and cream striped furniture, a wood-burner and French doors to the garden. Steps then lead back up to the spacious kitchen/diner. All three bedrooms are very pretty and the master has its own en suite shower-room. This is a lovely detached property – just right for that perfect summer break with friends or family. For nature lovers, there are barn owls nesting in the attic and you might catch a glimpse of them around dusk, or hear them calling to one another. Wireless broadband is available. *A cot is not provided, please bring your own travel cot.
