Roskennals Granary is an exceptional restored detached grain store, set in a secluded wooded valley within the grounds of the Owners’ home. This reversed level property is accessed from a pretty courtyard, with a solid oak staircase leading to the open plan first floor, which has oak flooring and a bespoke kitchen with granite worktops. Italian leather sofas, traditional Afghan rugs and a wood-burner make this the perfect year-round retreat. The ground floor has been beautifully finished with slate flooring and the luxurious bedrooms have quality bed linens. The west-facing terrace is ideally situated for afternoon tea or a glass of wine. Guests also have the use of the Owners’ private meadows bordered by a stream, as well as a stunning lake for bird watching (please take care with children), complete with a hide. Those wishing to spend time with additional friends and family could also book Roskennals Mill (1969) which sleeps five and is located in the same grounds. The property’s idyllic setting makes it ideal for exploring places such as St Ives and Sennen. Please note that the changeover times are 4pm on arrival and 10am on departure.
