Description

With spectacular views across St Ives Bay from the garden and conservatory and only a few minutes’ walk down to the fabulous sandy beach below, single-storey Robbers’ Roost is perfect for all ages in any season. Deceptively spacious, this welcoming semi-detached home is situated in the popular Riviere Towans holiday village at Phillack, just across the river from the west Cornwall town of Hayle with its shops, pubs, galleries and restaurants. A path from the parking-area runs beside a neighbouring property to the completely enclosed garden, which includes a lawn to the front, a private courtyard along one side, and a terraced patio at the rear (please take care on the different levels) – where the sea views are, quite simply, breathtaking. Inside, the front porch leads into a parquet-floored hall, and in turn to the dining-room and kitchen. Three prettily furnished bedrooms lie off the passageway which leads through to the comfortable sitting-room, where big picture windows reveal the conservatory, patio, and the spellbinding vista of the ocean beyond. This is the perfect spot for morning coffee, sun-drenched lunches and evening barbecues, or for losing yourself in the mesmerising rainbow of colour as the sun sets across the bay.
