Description

This stunning, detached retreat will provide luxury accommodation for guests looking for a special holiday. Glossop Farmhouse, set down an unmade lane in a tiny rural hamlet, is close to some of the prettiest coves and beaches in the far west, including Sennen and Porthcurno. With the coastal footpath outside your front door, an evening amble to the Minack Theatre is a must, as is a visit to the spectacular beach at Nanjizal cove. Glossop Farmhouse has been recently renovated to the highest standard; it has a kitchen/diner warmed by a pale blue Aga and a wood-burner. Along the hallway lies the sitting-room with another wood-burner set in the original 17th Century inglenook. There is broadband access, a snug and a utility-room which has under-floor heating, perfect for pets. Stairs lead up to four stunning bedrooms, one en suite, all decorated with flair and three boasting distant sea views. The luxurious family bathroom has a large bath and a beautiful vanity unit. Across the enclosed courtyard, up a flight of external steps, is the studio and a separate ground floor annexe. This has a double bedroom with an en suite bathroom and a bunk-room with a sitting-area (please note this annexe is not available at the lower rent band). There is more…an outside wet-room and the Wendy House! Again accessed across the courtyard, this granite playhouse has been renovated to the highest standard for small children. This will be any child’s dream, with a miniature kitchen-area, sitting and dining-room. For the older generation, the private enclosed terrace is the ideal place on which to relax, or partake in a game of French bowls on the lawn. Please note the lower rent band does not apply for holidays beginning on or between 2 June to 28 September and is only applicable for parties of 8 + cot or less. Please note that the changeover times are 4pm on arrival and 10am on departure.
