Fronting the grounds is the coastal footpath which leads along this unspoiled stretch of coastline. Silver Spray is set in an acre of unfenced gardens, so please take care with toddlers. Just a short stroll down the hill to Port Gaverne you will find a lovely sheltered beach which is ideal for children, launching a boat, or for just enjoying the fresh sea air and the very charming pub. The walks from Silver Spray are stunning, as are some superb sandy beaches within easy driving distance – south to Polzeath for excellent surfing, Daymer Bay with its gently sloping sandy beach, ideal for toddlers and windsurfing, and Rock with its numerous watersports, or north to Trebarwith Strand.
