Just a short stroll down the hill to Port Gaverne you will find a lovely sheltered beach which is ideal for children, launching a boat, or for just enjoying the fresh sea air and the very charming pub. The walks from Silver Spray are stunning, as are some superb sandy beaches within easy driving distance – south to Polzeath for excellent surfing, Daymer Bay with its gently sloping sandy beach, ideal for toddlers and windsurfing, and Rock with its numerous watersports, or north to Trebarwith Strand.
