Silver Spray's clifftop location has to be one of the most breathtaking in Cornwall! Overlooking Port Gaverne cove and Port Isaac – famous for the television programme Doc Martin, the dulcet tones of The Fishermans' Friends singers and The Good Food Guide 2018 No.1 Restaurant 'Restaurant Nathan Outlaw'. This spacious, well-equipped seaside home has sea views from nearly every room and the new terrace with built-in charcoal barbecue is spectacular. Perfect for all ages, the house also has ramped access via the back door which, together with the ground floor bedrooms, makes it ideal for less mobile or elderly guests. The fantastic dining-room, where everyone can be seated comfortably around one enormous table, is just great for celebrating birthdays, anniversaries and all manner of festive feasts. A large and wonderfully equipped kitchen (including a wine conditioning unit!) leads through to the generous living-room with its 50" surround sound television, big comfy sofas and enchanting sea views, which can also be enjoyed from the gorgeous terrace. The additional sunny sitting-room also has surround sound television, a stunning balcony with fabulous views towards Port Isaac. Fibre broadband is available throughout the house. The unfenced gardens outside, just beside the clifftop coastal footpath, offer exhilarating views all along this unspoilt, beautiful stretch of coastline and for those venturing into the sea for a spot of surfing or a swim, there is an outdoor area to wash and dry wetsuits, together with an external hot shower (spring - autumn use only).
The accommodation is spread over three floors; as well as the ground floor bedrooms and bathroom there are two bedrooms upstairs, also a bathroom with a sloping ceiling and a sunken bath. On the lower ground floor there are two further bedrooms and a shower-room. Just a short stroll down the hill in Port Gaverne, you will find a lovely sheltered beach which is ideal for children, launching a boat, or for just enjoying the fresh sea air and the very charming pub and restaurant. The walks from Silver Spray are stunning, as are the several other superb sandy beaches within easy driving distance – northwards to fabulous Trebarwith Strand, or south to Polzeath for its excellent surfing, Rock for its shops and numerous watersports, and Daymer Bay for its windsurfing and gently sloping sandy beach – perfect for toddlers.
