In the heart of Devon’s rolling rural landscape and with the meandering River Yeo on the doorstep, The Old Mill Cottage is a perfect retreat from busy everyday life. Ideal for walkers, this pretty part stone, part rendered cottage and its sheltered enclosed garden adjoin, but are set back from, the Owners’ thatched home, offering complete privacy. French windows open onto the garden from both the sitting-room and the dining/sun-room, filling the cottage with light. The immaculately presented accommodation is very flexible as both bedrooms have en suite bathrooms – in addition to the downstairs shower-room. You may be tempted to just stay put but this cottage is centrally placed for days out exploring the Dartmoor National Park, the wide sandy beaches of north Devon, the nature reserves of the Exe Estuary and the east Devon/Dorset Jurassic coastline. The property has a private water supply, regularly tested. The lower price band applies from 1 January to 27 March and from 7 November to 14 December for parties of 2 + cot or less.
