Peaceful rural seclusion; a truly tranquil haven...but if your car is your pride and joy, possibly not for you! The long unmade narrow farm lane leading into the valley where this delightful retreat nestles quietly, near the Owners’ home within their five acre garden, is very bumpy in places and unsuitable for heavily-laden or low suspension vehicles. But the slow, careful descent is definitely worthwhile, with Max the friendly Dalmatian waiting to welcome you at your destination. Steps lead down to Chynoweth Cottage’s sunny private patio; inside are slate floors, a contemporary kitchen, a romantic iron bedstead and two large comfy sofas facing the wood-burner. This stylish hideaway, just a short drive from St Ives and both north and south coasts, is the perfect brief escape from busy everyday life. The property has a private water supply, regularly tested.
