Pretty Bedford Cottage dates from around 1900 and is found in the quaintly-named village of Buckland Monachorum which has a good pub and walks onto Dartmoor. Divided into two spacious properties, the Owner lives next door but guests are quite private. With a lovely sunny garden, this stylish cottage will appeal to anyone wanting to explore Dartmoor with a comfortable base to return to. The cosy sitting-room has a Regency striped sofa and a warming wood-burner. The large kitchen/diner has a gas stove, plus two steps leading to a utility-room with plenty of storage. Up the narrow staircase (take care) are two bedrooms and a large bathroom. Nearby Tavistock is a busy town with one or two excellent restaurants, some interesting shops, and a lively daily Pannier market. Wireless broadband is provided at this property.
