This delightful Grade II Listed terraced cottage (second on the left in photograph) is yards from the seafront in the charming village of Flushing, just across the water from bustling Falmouth where galleries, bars and restaurants abound. Step over the knee-high flood step (level access is available at the rear of the property) into the cosy sitting-room, where a wood-burner warms the terracotta tiled floor. The light-filled kitchen/diner opens onto a pretty, enclosed courtyard, where you may occasionally hear the chatter of local children who use the neighbouring Village Hall for their school lunches. Narrow cottage stairs lead to the bedrooms and well appointed bathroom. Perfect for exploring the beaches, gardens and walks of this beautiful area, Bute Cottage provides a wonderfully stylish and comfortable retreat. Gardens at Glendurgan and Trebah are easily accessible, as is the Cathedral City of Truro. The Roseland peninsula can be reached via the nearby King Harry Ferry, and the coastal path is almost on the doorstep. *A cot is not provided, please bring your own travel cot.
