Crugsillick Manor
Sleeps 13 + 3 cots in 3 properties | 5.4 miles NE of St Mawes
The Roseland peninsula is a very special area of Cornwall with its mild climate, stunning coastline, hidden creeks and abundance of yachts and moorings. Crugsillick Manor lies down a quiet lane, close to the pretty village of Veryan and less than a mile from the beautiful sandy beaches at Pendower and Carne, easily accessible by road and with parking directly next to the beaches. The three stone-built cottages, each with their own private sun-trap patio areas and sharing a large lawn, provide comfortable and relaxing accommodation. All have free wireless broadband internet access allowing guests to stay in touch. St Mawes is a few miles south, a renowned sailing and watersports centre offering restaurants, galleries and ferry trips around the creeks and across the Carrick Roads to Falmouth. The Cathedral City of Truro is easily reached by car and several of the famous north coast surfing beaches are less than an hour’s drive away. Much of the Roseland coastline is conserved by the National Trust, which maintains a network of wonderful walks across the peninsula. Many major Cornish gardens, including Trelissick and The Lost Gardens of Heligan, as well as the Eden Project, are found in the area, while the windswept landscapes of the far west and the deep wooded valleys of east Cornwall provide rewarding days out.
