This is a lovely old farmhouse.

Description

Approached by narrow lanes, West Northwood Farm, a stone farmhouse dating back three centuries, has wonderful views over Bodmin Moor. With only one neighbour (please do not allow their cat in the house) in the adjoining barn and West Barn (1601) halfway down the track, this is a peaceful, very rural spot with marvellous walks on the doorstep. Furnished in a quirky style, there is a Rayburn (the main cooking appliance, although a gas hob and microwave are provided) and a wood-burner in the living-room. The conservatory has lovely views, and for cosier evenings the snug has another wood-burner. The bathroom is downstairs and steep cottage-style stairs lead to the two bedrooms, one with a water bed. The nearby Northwood Water Gardens are well worth visiting and do not forget your sun hat and shorts, and bring your boots and binoculars too, as West Northwood Farm is great whatever the weather. *A cot is not provided, please bring your own travel cot.
