This lovely detached house offers all you could wish for in a holiday home-from-home. Tucked away behind high wooden gates and hedges and situated near the South West Coast Path, the gently sloping garden has a sun-trap patio with garden furniture. Inside, the main sitting-room has a wall of windows overlooking the garden to the harbour and beach below (see photograph), a fabulous view shared by the master bedroom and sitting/dining-room. Here, patio doors open onto a balcony (please take care with children) where you can breakfast at leisure before strolling to the sandy beach for a day of paddling and sandcastle building. The Eden Project, Heligan Gardens and Mevagissey are nearby, while the Roseland peninsula beckons and the sailing town of St Mawes offers award-winning restaurants, pubs, galleries, shops and ferry trips. After busy days out return to the luxury of Parc an Gates, with its large, well-equipped kitchen/breakfast-room and comfortable bedrooms on two floors offering flexible accommodation. Please note that the changeover times are 4pm on arrival and 10am on departure.
