Nanquidno is one of Cornwall’s best kept secrets. Close to popular Sennen Cove and Gwenver, yet hidden away in a lush sub-tropical valley, lies Nanquidno Barn. This comfortable, partially reversed level barn conversion comes complete with a detached games-room (including a pool table, dartboard and air hockey) and an outdoor hot tub set within a large enclosed decked area and garden. The kitchen/diner has a farmhouse table, perfect for enjoying a convivial meal prepared on the Rayburn (the sole cooking appliance, although a combination microwave is provided) whilst recounting the day’s adventures. A double bedroom, bathroom and snug are on the ground floor, and stairs lead up to the cosy sitting-room with its inviting wood-burner and sofas. This in turn leads to the twin bedroom and master bedroom. A quiet lane and a brook separate Nanquidno Barn from a lovely walk through National Trust land and the footpath to Nanjulian Cove. Walks are in abundance in this ornithologists’ haven and coastal footpaths are on your doorstep, so whatever the season you can venture to the cliff paths and watch the Atlantic breakers roll in. *A cot is not provided, please bring your own travel cot.
