Description

Facing south with spectacular views across fields towards St Austell Bay, this cosy cottage is ideally placed for visiting many of Cornwall’s renowned attractions. With the Eden Project only a couple of miles distant, the harbours of Mevagissey and Charlestown, several sandy beaches and the sailing town of Fowey a short drive away, Tooks is an excellent base for an eventful holiday. The middle property of three former tinners’ cottages and with the Owner living next door, Tooks has a large enclosed garden to the front with lawn and patio areas. Inside, free wireless broadband access is available for guests’ use. A fully equipped kitchen and sitting/dining-room with an attractive wood-burner effect gas stove are on the ground floor, along with a conservatory allowing the views to be enjoyed even in cooler months. Traditional cottage stairs lead to a double and two single bedrooms, which share the well appointed bathroom. Near all necessary amenities but rural in outlook and feel, Tooks is a charming cottage that is sure to please.
