Stroll up the steep hill from the picturesque seaside village of Coverack and you will find Kilter House, standing in its substantial enclosed lawned garden at the end of an unmade lane. With just one neighbour, this elegantly furnished country house is perfectly private. Across the courtyard the front entrance opens into a large hall, leading to a beautifully fitted kitchen/dining-room with sofas beside the inglenook fireplace, and a spacious sitting-room. Two staircases lead upstairs, where four bedrooms and two bathrooms flank a further bedroom (accessible from either landing), offering independence for two families. The front bedroom, with distant sea glimpses, contains a generous 6’ bed; one of the back bedrooms has double or twin (‘zip and link’) beds. With plenty of space for everyone and a huge garden ideal for children, Kilter House is a magical setting for a memorable gathering of family or friends – peacefully secluded, yet close to the village and beach. Please note the lower rent band does not apply for holidays beginning on or between 21 May to 30 September and is only applicable for parties of 6 + cot or less.
