Set in an elevated position in the centre of Exmoor National Park, Leys Farm commands wonderful views across woodland coombes and open moorland to Withypool Common. Approached by a shared, partially unmade track, it is surrounded by the Owners’ land, home to their various animals and dogs. There are several excellent eating places within easy reach and rural heritage abounds, with one of the oldest bridges at Tarr Steps nearby. The River Barle is within walking distance, and Dunster Castle and beach are a short drive away. Leys Farm provides a perfect base for exploring the spectacular surrounding area and the Owners, who live in a separate, self-contained part of the property, can also arrange local fly fishing. Broadband access is available at both cottages (wireless at Foxtwitchen).
