The Sheiling is an absolute gem of a home-from-home, a two minute walk from the tidal moorings of the Fowey river in the quiet village of Golant. Full of books, games and wonderful photographs, and with broadband provision, this delightful detached chalet bungalow will surprise you with its spaciousness and superb standard of presentation. The enclosed garden has well-tended shrubs, a pond at the front and a little stream at the rear (please take care with children), where the sheltered patio borders the south-facing sun-room. The beautifully furnished sitting-room has an open fire and the small kitchen is complemented by a separate dining-room, while a double and single bedroom share the family bathroom. Upstairs, the en suite master bedroom has sloping ceilings and its own comfortable sitting-room. The picturesque sailing town of Fowey is nearby, while the Eden Project and Heligan Gardens, the fishing port of Mevagissey and tall ships in Charlestown harbour are all an easy drive away.
