The perfect beach holiday – sun, sea and Sennen! Little Cottage is a semi-detached, thatched fisherman’s cottage of great character and charm, nestling in the heart of this picturesque village, above the harbour car park. Enjoying views across Whitesand Bay, this attractive Grade II Listed cottage has been refurbished providing a cosy base for a romantic retreat or family break. With an oil-fired Rayburn in the kitchen and a wood-burner in each of the two small sitting-rooms, warm, snug evenings are assured after breathtaking cliff walks (the footpath to Land’s End is only 20 yards from the front door), or a day on the glorious beach (see photograph) surfing and building sandcastles. The low beamed ceilings (tall people beware) guarantee a traditional atmosphere. There are sea views from the main sitting-room, the twin bedroom and the kitchen/diner. However, the best spot to enjoy the captivating setting is from the splendid rear sun terrace, which is flanked by low granite walls, a perfect place to enjoy those balmy evenings. Alternatively, perhaps wander into the village, dine al fresco at one of the many restaurants or beach cafes, or peruse the local art galleries.
