With reversed accommodation taking full advantage of expansive countryside views, New Barn is a beautifully converted property set in an extensive plot on the road leading to Millbrook and Mount Edgecombe (there is a secure gate to the road). A sizeable paved patio, decking-area and spacious lawns behind the cottage all face south, and there is a thriving pond at the front (please take care with children). The large sitting/dining-room, accessed via an open-tread staircase, has comfortable sofas, a wood-burner effect gas stove, and a door out to exterior stone steps down to the garden. The contemporary kitchen/breakfast-room has a big central island unit, American-style fridge/freezer and an electric range cooker. Downstairs, the two larger bedrooms (one with an en suite shower-room) have doors to the patio and garden, with the cosy twin bedroom and family bathroom set between them. The seaside villages of Kingsand and Cawsand and the splendid tidal beach at Whitsand Bay are just two miles away and Plymouth is within easy access via the Cremyll ferry. New Barn is ideally placed for family holidays, while walkers will enjoy the coastal footpath. There is a private water supply (tested regularly). *A cot is not provided, please bring your own travel cot.
