Set across a courtyard from the friendly Owner’s house, but otherwise very private, the cottage has been skilfully converted to provide bright and spacious accommodation. The open plan living-room with its wooden floors looks out to the large enclosed garden, while two steps lead down to the well-equipped kitchen-area. Upstairs, the roomy bedrooms have views over peaceful undulating countryside. The little town of Bideford with its pannier market and ferry to Lundy Island is nearby, and the galleries, pubs and sandy beach of Instow are even closer. Venture north to the surfing beaches of Croyde, Woolacombe and Saunton, east to the wilds of Exmoor, or west to the dramatic scenery of Hartland and north Cornwall. Wherever guests explore, Fig Tree Cottage will make a comfortable base for happy holidays in this unspoilt and peaceful location. A second cot is not provided, please bring your own travel cot.
