You can live out the name of this supremely comfortable house by walking down the hill leading from the Maenporth Estate to the nearby sandy Maenporth beach on the edge of Falmouth Bay. Alternatively, if the weather is unkind, you could take advantage of the indoor swimming pool, spa, sauna, table-tennis and pool table all found on site. The 29 acre holiday estate also has tennis courts and a boat park and, being situated on the outskirts of Falmouth, makes an ideal touring base for the National Maritime Museum Cornwall, the Cathedral City of Truro and the still unspoilt Helford valley. Part of a small terrace, Beachcomber Cottage is decorated throughout in restful shades of cream with an occasional touch of colour, and boasts a fine conservatory/dining-room which leads out onto a terrace overlooking lawns and woodland. The spacious lower ground floor living-room has a pair of smart navy leather sofas and a well-equipped sparkling white kitchen-area. Upstairs, a generously-sized shower-room and bathroom complement the beautifully decorated bedrooms. *A cot is not provided, please bring your own travel cot.
