Your holiday at Menehay (Cornish for sanctuary) begins during the drive along the coast, where sea views will tempt you to stop. Set back from the coastal road, around a courtyard, Menehay is approached by five steps onto the patio where guests may enjoy sunny al fresco dining, whilst older children will enjoy the communal grassed area for ball games. Recently refurbished to a high standard, the reversed accommodation allows you to relish distant sea views from the airy open plan contemporary living-room. Fresh, New England style furnishings and colour schemes in the bedrooms downstairs create restful retreats. After a day out enjoying the surf at nearby Watergate Bay, with its famous restaurant, or hiking the rugged coastal path to Bedruthan Steps, relax at home or take a short walk downhill to enjoy a sundowner or a meal on the sea view terrace of a local hotel. The beach at Mawgan Porth is fabulous and the unspoilt beaches between Newquay and Padstow are within easy driving distance. Menehay is an excellent base for families and friends to enjoy this superb area of north Cornwall at any time of year.
