Do not be discouraged by the name of this delightful cottage as you will be pleasantly surprised by the comfort, space and warmth once you are inside! Windy Ridge Cottage lies in the small village of Landrake (see photograph), just south of the A38 and within easy reach of the south coast beaches, several National Trust properties and vibrant Plymouth Hoe, where shops, restaurants and bars abound. There are also two good pubs and a flourishing village shop within walking distance of this mid-terrace, late Victorian cottage, and pretty wooded valleys and coastal walks nearby. The spacious sitting/dining-room is furnished to a very high standard with comfortable sofas and armchairs, and leads to a sunny conservatory overlooking the patio and garden. Upstairs, the well appointed bathroom is shared by both comfortable bedrooms, the smaller having the advantage of an extra pull-out bed (allowing flexibility for a party of three). Ideally located for exploring this unspoilt corner of Cornwall, Windy Ridge Cottage is a charming holiday retreat.
