This lovely detached cottage lies in a tiny cul-de-sac on the edge of the peaceful village of Lanlivery, not far from the church where the bell ringers periodically practice their art. Originally a blacksmith’s workshop, it sits close to the former coaching house and its beautiful, spacious gardens, the lower half of which guests are welcome to use. From the attractive kitchen and dining area, steps lead to the comfortable sitting-area, beyond which is the large bedroom and the bathroom. A short walk from the excellent local pub, this cottage has been tastefully furnished, suiting couples seeking a quiet retreat after a day exploring the picturesque harbours of Fowey and Mevagissey, walking the nearby Saints’ Way (an ancient drover’s route) or visiting Lanhydrock, Heligan Gardens, or the famous Eden Project. All are within easy driving distance of this delightful little haven.
