Lovingly and skilfully converted by the Owner himself, a respected local builder, Higher Treluswell Barn will delight all who stay. The reversed accommodation has a large open plan living-room upstairs, with oak flooring and a high beamed ceiling. French doors open out to a secluded deck-area with far reaching views over the surrounding farmland, and comfortable sofas flank a wood-burner effect electric stove. The compact kitchen houses all you require and the dining-area has chunky reclaimed wood furniture. A twin bedroom on this floor adjoins a cloakroom, while the second twin bedroom, bathroom and en suite double bedroom are all found on the ground floor below. Rural in feel, the cottage is actually only a ten minute drive from the bustling town and sailing waters of Falmouth, where ferries sail to St Mawes, Truro and the Helford River. Local lanes, creekside walks and cycle routes can be explored, the north coast surfing beaches are easy to reach, and good access to the rest of the county makes exploring simple.
