Outside the village of Staverton, Dart View Cottage (although woods prevent a view of the river) is found in a peaceful setting with only one immediate neighbour. Dating from the 19th Century and beautifully decorated by the Owner, who lives in separate accommodation beyond the cottage, this is a light, sunny house. The well-equipped kitchen, with a tiled floor, cream units and a small fish tank, leads through an archway to the dining-room. French windows lead to the patio and gardens. The spacious sitting-room has access to the garden and a wood-burner effect gas stove. Upstairs, the bedrooms have wood floors and one has an en suite shower-room. Three high chairs and three cots (two of which are travel cots) are provided for the benefit of family groups. The master bedroom has a cast iron bed and a balcony overlooking the patio. The picturesque South Devon Steam Railway runs along the nearby river and the whistle of the trains can be heard from the garden. The location is ideal for exploring the South Hams, stunning beaches and dramatic Dartmoor. The house is approached by a steep drive (unsuitable for low suspension vehicles).

Bedroom 4 with single bed and captain’s bunk (2'6" recommended for children only). Bathroom with bath, shower attachment, WC and wash-basin.
