Description

In an idyllic location with magnificent sea views, Man o’ War stands peacefully on the cliffside above Cadgwith overlooking one of the most picturesque coves in Cornwall. With simply breathtaking panoramic views from its fully enclosed front garden, this Grade II Listed property is approached by a short unmade lane and footpath linking the coastal path to the village. Full of character, this delightful old cottage has terracotta floor tiles throughout the ground floor, enhancing a sense of space. In the sitting-room, two alcoves encased by Gothic-style lattice-paned doors complement the beamed ceilings, open fireplace and wood panelling. The farmhouse-style kitchen is ideal for family meals and the large table is a perfect spot from which to admire the spectacular scenery, as is the sitting-room window seat. Upstairs, the two double bedrooms still retain their original ornamental fireplaces, and the view from both these rooms is simply mesmerising — you might find it hard to get up in the mornings! Access from the Cadgwith road to the quarry car park is via a short steep tarmac’d slope, from which the footpath leads to your reward – the most stunningly beautiful view! Please note the higher rent band applies from 24 March to 2 November.
