The views from the front of this detached granite barn conversion are breathtaking, some of the most unspoilt countryside in the beautiful Roseland peninsula. The Owner runs a stud farm nearby and there are wonderful walks around the 300 acres of farmland (stock permitting). There is a choice of beaches within three miles at Carne or Pendower. The cottage is reached via a half-mile private road, driving through the yard and along a short track, which ensures a good degree of privacy. The Shepherd’s Cottage has a spacious open plan living-room, with a pair of terracotta sofas and a wood-burner effect gas stove. French windows open onto the fully enclosed front garden, which has steps down to a further lawn. At the side, an open terrace with built-in barbecue makes the most of the view. The kitchen is fully fitted in oak and is very well-equipped. Three steps lead to the ground floor twin bedroom with bathroom next door, whilst the double bedroom upstairs has its own en suite shower-room.
