A quiet narrow lane leads to Olde Mill Cottage, surrounded by farmland, with the beauty of Bodmin Moor in the distance. Close by, footpaths wind their way to woodlands with an abundance of wildlife and granite tors, where fine landscape and views can be enjoyed. Ideally situated to explore the sandy beaches and coves of both coasts, this detached cottage offers a countryside retreat. Steps lead up through the terraced garden, planted to bloom with continuous colour, to the elegant conservatory. Softly toned furnishings create a warm traditional interior with a light, fresh feel. The natural wood furniture in the dining-area enhances the neat and compact Shaker-style kitchen-area. Three steps lead to the sitting-room with a multi-burner, where mellow beams have been given a contemporary edge with a neutral background. From here, a door leads to a peaceful patio. Upstairs the bedrooms offer calm and comfort with a backdrop of fields and a stream forming a ford across the lane.
