Set amidst tranquil countryside with only the welcoming but discreet Owners and one other neighbour nearby, peace is ensured at this detached granite barn conversion. Beaches at Caerhays, Pendower and Portholland are within easy reach, together with Heligan Gardens, the Eden Project and many lovely walks, making Carveth an ideal base from which to explore. The village of Tregony and a popular farm shop are less than a mile away, and charming St Mawes can be found at the tip of the Roseland peninsula. Converted to an exacting standard, Carveth cottage has beautifully appointed, single-storey, double-glazed accommodation with a large breakfast kitchen leading to a spacious sitting/dining-room where a wood-burner is flanked by comfortable sofas and French doors lead out to a small south-facing enclosed garden. Both double bedrooms have en suite facilities and a small single bedroom is available to allow flexibility for parties of four. Guests are welcome to use the Owners’ all-weather tennis court by arrangement (with own equipment including suitable shoes).
