Surrounded by lush fields and grazing animals lies the hamlet of Broad Langdon. The community’s former cider press has been carefully converted to create Dovedale, and the original granite creates the first of two steps to the front door. This spacious, comfortable stone cottage, approached by an unmade track, has been well-equipped by the Owners, who live in a separate part of the property. The garden opens onto a four acre meadow – children will relish the freedom of open space, and all will enjoy wandering down the nature path to the brook (take care with children). Inside Dovedale, a step leads left down into the sitting-room, complete with wood-burner. To the right are the utility-room, shower-room and up two steps, a huge twin bedroom. Upstairs four further bedrooms nestle under the eaves. Whether walking the coast path or visiting the fantastic Widemouth Bay, surfing at Bude or exploring Tintagel and Boscastle, Dovedale provides a very relaxing holiday base. Please note that the changeover times are 4pm on arrival and 10am on departure.
