Set in an elevated position in the centre of Exmoor National Park, Leys Farm commands wonderful views across woodland coombes and open moorland to Withypool Common. Approached by a shared, partially unmade track, it is surrounded by the Owners’ land, home to their various animals including a Gloucester Old Spot pig. There are several excellent eating places within easy reach and rural heritage abounds, with one of the oldest bridges at Tarr Steps close by. The River Barle is within walking distance, and Dunster Castle and beach are a short drive away. Leys Farm provides a perfect base for exploring the spectacular surrounding area and the Owners, who live in a separate, self-contained part of the property, can also arrange local fly fishing. Broadband access is available at both cottages (wireless at Leys Cottage).

Stepping stones across the lawn descend to Foxtwitchen, a beautifully furnished semi-detached former barn. The sitting-room has a natural wood floor and wonderful views over the inspiring scenery. A step takes you up to the kitchen/dining-room, and a turning staircase leads to two spacious and exceedingly comfortable en suite bedrooms.

Ground Floor Hall. Sitting-room with digital TV, video, DVD player and CD and tape player. Kitchen/Dining-room with electric cooker, microwave, fridge, freezer, washing machine/drier and dishwasher.
