Beyond is the kitchen/dining-room, where slate floor tiles complement the white fitted units and a French door opens out to a tiny gravelled rear courtyard. A typically steep cottage staircase leads from the sitting-room up to the first floor, opening directly into the gorgeous double bedroom, complete with en suite shower-room.
