Nestled between its neighbours and approached down four steep steps, this thatched, terraced cottage is believed to be over 300 years old and has been restored with care. The sitting-room is furnished with sofas that complement the open beams (tall people beware) and inglenook fireplace. Both the garden-room and the kitchen/dining-room face south, and open out onto the sunny patio and large enclosed garden. Summer evenings will be a treat as guests enjoy the peace and quiet of this attractively positioned cottage. From the sitting-room a door opens to a steep turned staircase leading to two pretty bedrooms, the twin overlooking the garden. While away the hours exploring the beautiful surrounding countryside, visit Weymouth’s golden sands and the dramatic World Heritage coast, both within ten miles, or forget the car and just get away from it all. With three pubs nearby and the home-from-home atmosphere of Horseshoe Cottage awaiting you, this will be the perfect retreat. *A cot is not provided, please bring your own travel cot.
