Didworthy House is found in the hamlet of the same name, deep within the Dartmoor National Park, in an outstandingly beautiful area. Set in gorgeous grounds with several sheltered hidden spots, this is an elegant Victorian house with extensive views to the high moors beyond. In two wings of the main house (to the left in the photograph), the three apartments are arranged around a small inner courtyard. From the moment you arrive to find a mouth-watering cream tea on the table, your welcome is assured. The Owners do their best to make sure you have a wonderful holiday, from arranging delivery of fresh organic vegetable boxes and free-range eggs (at cost), to numerous other activities available locally – horse riding, fishing, golf, cycling or walking the moors. Another attraction is the outdoor heated swimming pool available to guests (between 10am to 12pm and 4pm to 6pm) from the end of April until mid-September (please supervise children at all times). Close to the market town of Totnes and only a short drive from the beaches of south Devon, these lovely apartments have something to offer all ages and tastes.

Approached by an external wooden staircase, Moorlands is an elegant and very spacious first floor apartment. You enter through the large kitchen which leads to the charming sitting/dining-room with a colour scheme of soft greens and creams, and a cosy wood-burner offering extra warmth in the cooler months. The bedroom is just lovely with a cast iron Victorian-style bed and pretty bed linens. Please note that the changeover times are 4pm on arrival and 10am on departure.

External staircase to First Floor Kitchen with electric cooker, microwave and fridge. Sitting/Dining-room with TV, video, DVD player, CD and tape player and wood-burner. Bedroom with double bed. Bathroom with bath, shower attachment, WC and wash-basin. Outside access to shared Laundry-room with coin-operated washing machine, tumble-drier and freezer (shared with Orchards).
