Situated down a half-mile long private road, this exceptionally peaceful detached cottage is centrally located for reaching all parts of west Cornwall, including beaches at Helford Passage, the Lizard, Falmouth and St Ives, and the Eden Project. The National Seal Sanctuary at Gweek is close by, and gardens to visit include Trebah and Glendurgan. Maen Toll Cottage is named after the large Druidic standing stone at the entrance, and your nearest neighbours are the Owners and their horses. The cottage has a sheltered, enclosed garden with a path to an established copse and a picnic bench. The Owners’ estate is a haven for wildlife and runs to some 40 acres, with splendid walks including one alongside a spectacular flooded quarry. The cottage has a bright, well-equipped kitchen and the sitting/dining-room has a welcoming wood-burner, with sliding glass doors and some steps leading to the garden. There is a private water supply which is regularly tested.
