Hidden away down a half-mile long private road, this detached, exceptionally peaceful cottage is centrally located to reach all parts of west Cornwall, including beaches at Helford Passage, the Lizard, Falmouth and St Ives, and the Eden Project. Maen Toll Cottage is named after the large Druidic standing stone at the entrance. Your nearest neighbours are the Owners, their Labradors and horses. The National Seal Sanctuary at Gweek is close by, and gardens to visit include Trebah and Glendurgan. The cottage has a sheltered, enclosed garden with a path to an established copse with a picnic bench. The Owners’ estate is a haven for wildlife and runs to some 40 acres, with splendid walks including one alongside a spectacular flooded quarry. The cottage has a bright, well-equipped kitchen and the sitting/dining-room has a welcoming wood-burner; sliding glass doors and some steps lead to the garden. Please note there is a private water supply which is regularly tested, and the parking space is approximately 50 yards away from the front door.
