Perfect for family holidays in any season this detached, spacious bungalow is set in the heart of the lovely Helford River valley. A beautiful landscaped, gently sloping enclosed garden (please take care on the steps and terraces) provides space for children to play, and guests of all ages will enjoy the spectacular views across the water, the wooded valley, and the open countryside. It is just a short drive to Falmouth’s beaches, or the Lizard peninsula’s picturesque coves and seaside villages, as well as many other attractions; with Glendurgan and Trebah gardens also close by there is plenty to see and do in the area. Undergoing a complete interior refurbishment for 2012 (the new photographs will be available early in the spring), the new living rooms all have fantastic views of the creek and doors leading out onto the fabulous raised terrace, as do one of the twin bedrooms and the single bedroom, which doubles as another sitting-room. There is wireless broadband, a stunning contemporary wood-burner in the main sitting-room, and another wood-burner and comfy seating-area in the spacious kitchen/dining-room; where the dining-table, in front of the patio doors, is perfect for lingering over convivial family meals.
