Description

For unparalleled views over Port Navas Creek (see photograph) and complete peace and tranquility in an idyllic setting, Gate Acre is hard to beat. There is plenty of room for everyone in this comfortable, spacious bungalow situated in the heart of the spectacular Helford River valley. A beautifully landscaped, gently sloping enclosed garden (please take care on the steps and terraces) provides lots of room for children to run around, and guests of all ages will enjoy the glorious views across the water, the wooded river valley and the open countryside beyond. Just a short drive from Falmouth’s beaches, the Lizard peninsula’s picturesque coves and seaside villages and many other attractions, Glendurgan and Trebah gardens are also close by so there is plenty to do and see in the area. Inside, the large kitchen/dining-room has a large family dining-table set near the patio doors which open out onto the raised deck, where the views are simply wonderful. The three individually furnished sitting-rooms all overlook the creek, two with patio doors leading outside, and the largest at the far end of the house, has satellite television and a cosy wood-burner. Gate Acre is perfect for family gatherings at any time of the year.
