The beautiful waterside village of Flushing (see photograph – not from property) nestles on the shores of Falmouth harbour where the Penryn River joins the sea. Settled by Dutch seafarers and traders in the 17th Century, who built impressive Queen Anne-style houses, the village has an historic but thriving air. There is a small, sheltered beach within walking distance and ferries sail daily across the river to lively Falmouth. Seascape is part of a small, hilltop development at the top of the village, which has two excellent pubs a short walk away. Furnished to a very high standard in contemporary style, the living-room has doors out to an enclosed, sheltered, sun-trap patio. Both bedrooms are spacious, sharing the well appointed shower-room between. With several superb Cornish gardens, coastal walks, beaches and sailing opportunities on offer nearby, Seascape provides an ideal base for those wishing to explore this beautiful area.
