Polwheveral Mill

Accommodates 9 + 3 cots in 2 properties | 5.2 miles SW of Falmouth

Polwheveral Mill, the white building on the right, stands peacefully beside the Owners' home.

Polwheveral Mill’s tranquil setting, at the head of one of the Helford River’s most picturesque tidal creeks, is truly magical. With beautifully planted gardens sloping down towards the water, this sensitively converted 16th Century grain mill (on the right in the photograph, with the Owners’ home to its left) is now divided into two tastefully furnished apartments each with its own garden and wonderful views of the creek. This is surely a little glimpse of paradise, the surrounding woodland providing fabulous walks and a little stream gurgling along beside the lush green meadow. Here there is plenty of space for children to run around, fly a kite or play games, or for a picnic or a barbecue at the water’s edge. A short walk up the hill there is an award-winning pub with an excellent restaurant, and the village of Constantine nearby has a selection of local shops. Polwheveral Mill is the ideal base for exploring this wonderful part of Cornwall, perfect for couples and families in any season. Both properties have wireless broadband and share a regularly tested private water supply.
