This attractive and spacious barn conversion is found in the village of Harberton only a few miles from many of the best attractions in the South Hams – Blackpool Sands, Bantham and Bigbury all have sandy beaches. Also within a short drive are Dart River boat trips from Dartmouth to Totnes (Easter until October) with a return on the Dart Valley Steam Railway, as well as the Dartington Cider Press, with its wealth of arts and crafts. Dartington Hall is worth a visit and Greenway, Agatha Christie’s former home, has been restored by the National Trust and can be reached by boat from Totnes and Dartmouth or by ferry from Dittisham across the river. The village boasts a local 13th Century inn serving good food. Linhay Court is part of a courtyard development of private houses and has its own enclosed patio at the rear. The Owners, who live close by, offer Bed and Breakfast for extra visitors if required. With a welcoming wood-burner in the sitting-room, a well-equipped kitchen/diner, and three bedrooms upstairs, this is the ideal cottage for a memorable holiday. So, drive to Devon and spend time in this special part of the West Country.
