Description

Polwrath is a delightful spot, found down a narrow lane on the edge of Tremar village. South east Cornwall is very unspoilt and offers easy access to both coasts. Ideally situated for walks on nearby Bodmin Moor with its many legendary rock formations, Siblyback Lake is also just down the road and offers trout fishing and watersports. The Granary is only a short drive from the Eden Project as well as several National Trust houses and gardens. The Owners live next door and nurture marvellous gardens, which spread out in front of the property. With reversed accommodation, Polwrath Granary is furnished to a very high standard with an open plan living-room upstairs, and all bar one of the bedrooms on the floor below. As well as the private patio, there is plenty of space for children to run about and there is a large ornamental lake (take care with toddlers), stocked with trout (Owners’ pets) and frequented by wild duck. Behind the property is another bonus – a heated indoor swimming pool (please supervise children at all times) for guests’ sole use. Enjoy a swim whatever the weather or relax in the sitting-area at one end, which overlooks the gardens. Please note the lower rent band does not apply for holidays beginning on or between 16 June to 21 September and is only applicable for parties of 4 + cot or less.
