First floor Forda Hayloft is on the left (the top floor windows) with a swing on the patio in front of the games-room.The grounds are enchanting.The Owners' grounds have loads of lovely walks - and the arboretum is just right for exercising the dog.
 
There is lots of colour in the extensive grounds for most of the year.One of the two ponds in the garden - a great attraction for butterflies and dragonflies.One of the two pretty ponds, providing a secluded sitting-area in the grounds.
 
The arboretum has some quite rare trees.The church on top of Brentor is a local landmark.Dartmoor is on your doorstep so put on those boots and explore.

Description

Found on the edge of the village of Chillaton, close to Dartmoor National Park, is this delightful first floor property. Originally a hayloft, the Owners extended their farmhouse and incorporated the barn into the main house but, apart from a shared hallway, guests are entirely private. This cosy property benefits from wireless broadband access and an open fire in the charming open plan living-room. The pretty bedroom has twin beds that can be made into a double bed if preferred. Guests are welcome to wander through the grounds (please take care with dogs around livestock). The Owners request that dogs are not left unattended in the property. Also available is a shared games-room boasting a full-size snooker table, table-tennis and darts, an all-weather tennis court and a croquet lawn in the enclosed gardens.
