We had the most wonderful break at Keepers Cottage. Such a peaceful location surrounded by an abundance of wildlife, we spotted red squirrels, bats, barn owls and field mice. So easy to get to everywhere on the island from here. The additional bonus of the steam train passing by certainly made it more fun, especially for the two year old! We would definitely recommend this beautiful well equipped property. ...

We had a lovely week here at Keepers Cottage - it was our family's second time staying here. We loved the peace and quiet and saw lots of wild life in the garden & surrounding areas, especially the red squirrels. All of the furniture was very comfortable especially the sofa in the dining area, a great place to stretch out and relax reading a book. It was nice to walk down the lane to the level crossing & watch the steam train pass by. We all enjoyed ourselves from teenagers, to the grandparents!?? Mrs Harper & family. ...

Keepers Cottage is a beautiful cottage in a stunning location. We had a most relaxing time enjoying the peace and quiet of it's location, listening to the steam train's haunting whistle as it passed by, whilst sitting in the glorious garden, it was a perfect place to sit and take in the wildlife directly on your doorstep. A wonderful retreat to unwind and recharge your batteries....

Lovely week in Keepers cottage. Very peaceful. Beautiful garden. Very spacious in the modern extension. Gorgeous sunrises from the master bedroom. Would like to return one day .

A lovely secluded property. Very spacious and great social area looking out onto a nice large garden. Well equipped and appreciated the welcome goodies.. Very quiet area and lovely to hear the steam train at the bottom of the track with a lovely walk to see the train. Thoroughly recommend the farm shop (Briddlesford Farm), great breakfast and shop… the antiques emporium at the top of the lane is worth going to also. So much to see and do. Only negative aspect to holiday house is the lane to the property. It is described as an unmade track but it is extremely uneven and would be no good for a low slung car. The bottom of our car took a few scrapes which wasn’t pleasant. Once navigated, the cottage was beautiful....
