I wrote very favourable comments in the visitors' book for Lee and Caroline. I am happy for them to share these with you, ie for publication.

Samphire Barn was total perfection. The location is great as it’s close to the town, beaches, Bus service and train station. But once you’re inside, it’s a sanctuary of peace and quiet. The accommodation is carefully and thoughtfully decorated and we thought the furniture and some of the quirky additions were great. The hosts have a real eye for interior design. The bedrooms were comfortable and the bath was heavenly! We really can’t recommend it enough for people looking for a Cornish holiday location - and we’re only a 20 minute drive away. Even though it was just down the road from us, it really felt like a holiday.

We have a very warm welcome with the owners and they were very, very friendly and helpful. The barn was perfectly equiped. Especially the kitchen was great. There is an induction cooker, washing machine with dryer, dishwasher, vaccum cleaner, hairdryer and some socket Adapter for german plugs. And even the dishwasher and washing machine tabs are there. The barn is decorated wonderful and the furnishing is great. We spent a great Holiday there.

August 2016

Quirky & characterful accommodation, which was ideal for our stay. High standard of decoration throughout with all mod cons, including Wi-Fi - for virtual surfing after the actual kind! Within an easy walk of Hayle town, and well placed for getting around the area. Owners very friendly & welcoming.

Excellent stay for 2 weeks in this lovely barn conversion. Decor and furnishings outstanding. This is the second property belonging to our hosts we have stayed in, both cottage and barn highly recommended. Caroline and Lee the Owners are so welcoming and nothing is too much trouble.

We have just had our second week at Samphire Barn. The location is ideal, the apartment is wonderfully furnished, with everything you would require for a fantastic holiday . The owners are on hand if needed, but never intrusive. We enjoyed a wonderful week, and are looking through the diary to see if we can squeeze in another visit this year.

February 2016

We loved the place we stayed, it was clean, comfortable and the owners were very hospitable and helpful - but non-intrusive. Location was good.

We have made a couple of small suggests to the owners for improvements.

Samphire barn is perfectly situated for easy exploration of the area. The train station is only a stones throw away, and we found travelling around by train very convenient if you require a car free day. A wonderful holiday escape.

August 2015

A fabulous place to stay. Furnishings and beds very comfortable for relaxation after a day out. Accommodation is very clean and has every creature comfort and more you ever need.

Lots of literature provided for planning days out and close to the village where there's a great selection of places to eat as well as a large supermarket for everyday essentials.

Train station is only a street away but you won't be disturbed by trains, we never heard one, even though they ran regularly.

Lovely beaches just a short drive away.

Lee and Caroline made us feel very welcome and stressed if we needed anything, which we didn't, just to ask.

Would definitely stay here again.
