Super comfortable and warm modern cottage in the historic village of Corfe Castle. Walks from the door into the village and beautiful countryside. Bus stop in the village with buses to Swanage and Poole a great bonus. There is only parking for one car at the property and parking is severely restricted in the village in peak season May-September. We found the travel cot to be extremely hard with no mattress so parents please note! Cottage was beautifully presented with Christmas decorations and Christmas cake. A lovely touch. Thank you. Great that the cottage is dog free. Thanks for a great place to stay with our family. We highly recommend this property. ...

It is a really nice property with a good feel about it, and we did enjoy staying there, however the family bathroom lets it down. You can’t use the shower as it is only for drying hair. The bath has no grab rails so if elderly is unusable. The water pressure in this bathroom is not good. Needs updating. The en suite shower is better but is tiny with a minute sink and not suitable for everyone to share. The door to the second bedroom is stuck wide open as it won’t close over the carpet. We would be happy to stay again if these problems are sorted....

I would thoroughly recommend 2 Pennys Cottage as a great case for a family holiday. The cottage was lovely and cosy and no location was far away. I can thoroughly recommend a trip on the railway.

We were impressed with the cottage especially its cleanliness; the cleanliness of a property is always the key area for us, and we do have high standards, therefore really appreciated the high quality of cleanliness throughout. We would stay again based on how clean it was (and we don’t often say that!)...
