One of the oldest cottages in the picturesque seaside village of Coverack, Jubilee Cottage has been beautifully and sensitively updated to the highest standard but still retains much character and Cornish charm.

A cosy contemporary wood-burner stands at one end of the welcoming open plan living-room and a fabulous double range cooker sits at the other. Relax around the fire after a day out exploring, before heading down the hill to the friendly pub or one of the local restaurants for a bite to eat.

With the beach, harbour and park just a few minutes’ walk away, you won’t miss the lack of outside space at this lovely old semi-detached harbourside cottage, as it is simply ideal for a small family or friends at any time of the year. If it’s just the two of you, this delightful little bolthole with beautiful bedrooms and crisp white linen could be the perfect retreat.

Coverack is a charming and highly desired fishing village that sits around a pretty bay where at low tide the expanse of golden sand and rocks are as good for rock pooling as they are for sandcastle making and at high tide you may spot the local grey seal searching for his dinner.

For those wanting to get onto the water, the nearby Windsurfing Centre hires out windsurfers, paddle boards and wetsuits to beginners (lessons available too) or with the shallow waters a paddle might be all you need on a hot day. And if you want to bring your own wetsuits and beach gear on holiday with you, there is a useful storage shed behind the cottage accessible from the back door.

To eat choose from the Paris Hotel, Lifeboat Restaurant, Harbour Lights or the Bay Hotel, plus a couple of cafes (some open seasonally) all right here on your doorstep offering fresh local produce. Or why not grab a few supplies from the village shop, including fresh locally-baked bread, vegetables and fish (seasonal), and rustle up your own tasty dish in the comfort of your seaside holiday home, as Jubilee Cottage is likely to capture your heart so you may never want to leave!
