If you were looking for cottages like Gascon Safari Tent, how about trying these:

Glamping at Black Pig Retreats allows you to escape the everyday and enjoy a fabulous holiday with a difference, where you can cook with fire, collect logs, listen to birdsong and immerse yourself in an outdoor lifestyle. Park your car, load your luggage onto the farm's all-terrian vehicle and your adventure begins. Facing towards the amazing view over the Blackmore Vale, Gascon has been stylishly furnished with a French theme, named after an ancient breed of black pig from the mountainous Midi-Pyrenees region of France.

You can choose to relax and admire the surrounding countryside from your deck or for the more energetic there is plenty of space for football or flying a kite. Inside you will find a cosy wood-fired range for cooking and heating, two-ring gas hob, all the kitchen utensils you could need when glamping, a fridge/freezer for chilling all those important holiday ingredients and a sink with lots of hot water. The super comfy beds include a king-size bed, twin beds and a double cabin bed, perfect as a holiday den for little and not so little ones. At the back of this luxury tent is an en suite shower-room with double-size shower tray and across from this is a cloakroom with WC with flushing toilet, wash-basin and heated towel rail.

This calm and peaceful environment invites you to stay and enjoy all things natural, or do nothing and finish that book. This spacious safari tent sits in the large wildflower meadow below Murciano and in an adjoining lower meadow is Mukota, an African themed tent that sleeps four and a delightful Bothy built with straw bales and timber clad which is available for use if you book all three tents. This charming building is equipped with tables and seating for twenty allowing groups to dine together if they wish. Pilates classes are often available in the Bothy on a Wednesday from 10am to 11am at a cost of £15 per person per class; if you wish to attend during your holiday please let the owner know when you arrive and pay her directly.

The star attraction of this small holding is Beauty the Large Black pig, who inspired the name of the site, all three of the beautifully styled tents are named after breeds of black pig. Bittles Brook Farm has an equestrian facility and in addition to Beauty and the horses; you will encounter the owners' chickens, sheep, dog and cats, although they are on the farm away from your glamping meadow. Your dogs are welcome to join you in this 'away from it all holiday', but please keep them under control. As the farm name suggests there is a brook and a pond to explore, so please supervise children at all times. The village shop and pub are a fifteen and thirty minute walk along footpaths and lanes.
